How We Got Here
Started in a Small Bay
Honestly, it was just me and my buddy Mike working out of a single-bay shop we rented from an old timer who was retiring. We had more ambition than equipment back then - started with mostly BMW and VW work 'cause that's what we knew inside out from our days at the dealerships. Word spread pretty quick when people realized we actually gave a damn about doing things right instead of just quick flips.
Expanded & Got Serious
Finally moved to our current spot on Marine Drive - four bays, proper lifts, and actual diagnostic equipment that didn't cost us an arm and a leg. Added two more techs who were just as obsessed with European performance cars as we were. This's when we started getting into the real performance tuning stuff, not just maintenance and repairs.
Went Full Performance
This was the year we said screw it, let's specialize in what we love. Invested heavily in Bosch, STAR, and VCDS diagnostic systems. Started building relationships with performance parts suppliers across Europe. We weren't gonna be just another shop that does oil changes - we wanted to be THE place for serious European car enthusiasts on the North Shore.
Survived & Thrived
Yeah, that year was rough for everyone. But our customers stuck with us 'cause they knew their cars were in good hands. We adapted, stayed safe, and actually used the slower times to upgrade our equipment and train on the newest models. Added hybrid and electric system diagnostics too - European manufacturers are going electric fast and we're staying ahead of that curve.
Today & Tomorrow
We're now a seven-person operation with a client list that includes some seriously cool machines - everything from classic air-cooled 911s to brand new RS e-tron GTs. We've built our reputation on not treating your car like a number, and actually taking the time to explain what's going on. Still learning every day 'cause these cars keep getting more complex, and that's exactly what keeps this job interesting.
